“This petty bull-shit is the foundation of our work environment.”

This is just great! And oh so true. Younger people in offices across the US care very little about office bs…we’d rather you just leave us alone and give us more days off!

Study Finds Young People Remain Apathetic About Office Politics

  1. I could not agree more. I am a 22 year old, stressed out, job hating office worker myself. I couldn’t care less about office politics. I am trying as fast as I can to escape this so called “cube farm.”

  2. professionalism Says:

Most young people could care less about office politics and the goings on of “cubical nation” (hence is why so many are looking for anything but office jobs.)

All we want to do is come to work, greet our co-workers, do our job, and go home to leisure time with our friend’s and family.

Ever noticed why young professionals and young employees are often quiet and keep to themselves? Ever noticed why so many of us try to hide behind a lot of work and or our cell phone’s and I-Pods?

Because we do not want to get caught up in the nonsense nor do we care to hear of people’s personal problems and squabbles. We just want to mind our business.

We also realized that if anything goes wrong or it there is a problem (argument/fight,lawsuit/claim, lack in productivity) all blame will be magically shifted on the youngest and newest. The first hired will be the first fired…no questions asked.
